Episode #31: How to Avoid Knee Injuries in Yoga

​Our knees are under-appreciated in life.

We typically don’t think too much about them until they become a problem. Depending on what your life has looked like, or what kind of activity you’ve gotten into throughout your life, you may have knees that are feeling older than you are!

Or maybe that’s just me (Michael)!

Either way, the knees are super important and require a lot of TLC to make sure they can continue to carry us around this beautiful world. When it comes to yoga practice, our knees can be easily ignored and overlooked, resulting in a gradual breakdown of stability and structure.

Nobody wants that. With a little self-awareness and a sprinkle of anatomy knowledge, you can make a major impact in the progression of life for your knees and for those of the students that attend your classes.
