1. Who we are and what this covers

Canadian Global Consultants LLC, doing business as Going Pro Yoga, is the controller of the personal information described here.

This policy covers https://goingproyoga.com and the services we provide through it, whether you visit as a guest or a member.

2. What we collect

You give us:

Accountname, email address, password
Purchasesbilling name, email, country, subscription and payment history

Optionalsurvey responses, feedback, community contributions

We never see or store your full card number. Card details go directly to Stripe.

Collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring site, and dates and times of visits.

We treat your IP address as personal information, because it can identify you when combined with other data.

We do not collect special-category data (health, biometric, religious or similar). Please don’t send us health details through the contact form — if you have a medical question, ask your physician.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, keep the site secure and understand how it is used.

Where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings on the site.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 on our public marketing pages — such as the home page, pricing, and the pages describing what we teach — to understand how people find us and which pages are useful. It tells us things like which pages were viewed, how long visitors stayed, and roughly where in the world they came from.

We do not run analytics inside the members’ area. What you study, which poses you look up and how you use the library is not tracked for marketing purposes.

Analytics cookies are set only where you have consented. You can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie settings, and the site works normally if you decline.

Advertising. We may also use advertising and remarketing technologies from Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) on our marketing pages, to measure how well our advertising works and to show our ads to people who have already visited us. Like analytics, these are set only where you have consented, are limited to our marketing pages, and never run inside the members’ area.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our legal rights, or to a successor if the business is sold or reorganised — in which case this policy continues to apply.

6. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our providers are largely in the US. If you are in the EU, UK or elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in countries whose data-protection laws may differ from your own.

Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses — in our agreements with providers.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see section 9. We may need to keep records where the law requires it.

8. Marketing email

If you buy from us or ask for a free resource, we may send you email about our products and training.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the foot of every marketing email, through our contact form, or by emailing info[at]goingproyoga[dot]com. Service emails — receipts, renewal notices, account and security messages — aren’t marketing and continue while your account is open.

We comply with CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada) and the GDPR/PECR (EU/UK). Where those laws require your consent before we send marketing, we ask for it first.

9. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to: access a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, port it to another provider, or withdraw consent you previously gave.

Send your request through our contact form, or email info[at]goingproyoga[dot]com. We will respond within 30 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

EU/UK: you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

California: you have the right to know what we collect, to delete it, to correct it, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have. Where you consent to advertising cookies (section 3), the resulting use of your information by Google or Meta may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law.

You can opt out at any time by declining or withdrawing advertising consent in the cookie settings on our site — we treat that as an opt-out of sharing. We also honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid opt-out.

10. Security

We use HTTPS across the site, take payment through PCI-compliant providers, and limit staff access to personal information.

No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Email is not a secure medium — please don’t send us card details, passwords or sensitive personal information by email.

11. Children

The Service is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the threshold for consent). If you believe a child has given us information, contact us through our contact form or at info[at]goingproyoga[dot]com and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We’ll post any changes here and update the effective date. If a change is material we’ll notify you by email or through the site. Please keep your email address current.
